Vertebrate Phylogeny Reflection
This project was a component of our "Exhibit at the Museum" final group project for Anatomy. The assignment was to create our own phylogeny using one of each different forms of the vertebrates that we studied. It was really interesting to see how a subject as complicated as evolution could be displayed in such a simple way. Not only was organizing the phylogeny fun, but so was learning about each individual species. I worked so carefully on this project that it was chosen to represent my group in our final project. This is a perfect showcase of my scientific abilities.

Children's Book Reflection
Writing this book was something I will never forget. In my Writing Workshop class over intersession, we not only wrote children's books, but read them, and visited with children themselves to talk about what they liked and what we had written. It proved to me that writing is much more than sitting at home and typing on a laptop, it is living life. The result is one of the most imaginative pieces I have ever written, and a testament to how I could grow into a real writer, and in a genre I have never even tackled before. I am proud to display this piece as a testament to my growth, and hope that it will continue to grow with me.

College Essay Reflection
The college application essay might not have been for a class, but was certainly the most academically demanding thing I have done all year. Thankfully, it ended up as one of the best pieces I have ever produced. What this essay says about me goes beyond the question "how have you challenged convention?" This is a small example of the way I have tried to approach every decision I have ever made. If I could, I would make this my About Me, because it says more about me than any summary possibly could.
