Allusion Poem

Reflection
I chose these samples of work because they showcase my best skills done to the best of my abilities. All of these projects were things I invested a lot of time into and had gotten perfect tens on. Rather than a random rubric for a project I couldn't even remember, these are all things that I have some sort of attachment to. If I had more time, I would further improve upon my allusion poem. I like it very much, but it can always be better. When I look at my piece from the line project in the beggining of the year, I can really tell how my knowlege has grown on elements and princaples as time has gone on. When it is compared to my piece from the elements and princaples project the differences are very distinct. The line project was exectuted in a disorganized and unthoughtout manner as opposed to my more current one, where I payed much closer attention to composition.
One think I really need to work on is doing my work efficiently. Even though I love taking leisuely time with my work, it takes a toll on my grades and ends up making the finished product weaker because it had to be rushed towards the end.
My portfolio reveals my very obvious preference for writing and art over ISM and language studies. Not that I am bad at those things, but I feel a much stronger connection with the arts. My portfolio also highlights the amount of detail I use in my work, and my dedication to it all. Those are key themes that I hope any viewer will recognize.
